We start each day with a simple pledge to work safety, to look out for our fellow team members and to take pride in our excellent safety performance. We encourage a positive behavioral based safety culture whereby leaders at all locations provide positive, face-to-face reinforcement of safe behaviors with specific, "You Did It Right" cards that generate award points. Unsafe practices are corrected with "Because I Care" and "Learn" cards that promote positive learning and encouragement toward safe behaviors. This non-punitive system engages involvement at all levels of the organization.


Our engaged workforce provides the foundation for safety excellence. Each year, through our team’s commitment, thousands of safety improvements are identified, completed, documented and shared with other MacLellan operations.
